Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in several TV shows. She is an Afghan American actress that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her country of birth the family relocated towards in the US. They were given asylum, and were allowed to remain. She is the middle daughter from two siblings, and brought up in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air career began with a string of National Commercials. Ghanizada was awarded the award in recognition of her role as Chiara who was the lead character in Laura Neri's 2004 movie A Kiss on the Nose. She's appeared in TV shows like How I Met Your Mother and Entourage. Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych as well as Castle. In the past, she was a supporting character for the film Blood Shot (2009). Also, she was an independent comic for You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada began her acting career in 2008 as a cast member of General Hospital's premiertime spinoff General Hospital. For season two of Nightshift she played holistic doctor the Dr. Saira Bastra.
